Information on your device
Tap Hack does not require a Tap Hack account or operate a custom player-data backend in version one. Gameplay and preference information—such as scores, run history, statistics, settings, themes, accessibility choices, consent state, purchase-entitlement state, and pending service operations—is stored locally to make the app work.
Local information remains until it is removed by an in-app reset that covers it, by deleting the app, or by iOS according to its storage behavior. StoreKit purchases and Game Center records are controlled by Apple and may remain associated with your Apple Account after local app data is removed.
Apple services
Tap Hack uses Apple services that may process information under Apple’s terms and privacy policies:
- Game Center supports authentication, leaderboards, and achievements. Tap Hack submits finished-run scores and achievement progress. Local play remains available when Game Center is unavailable.
- StoreKit and the App Store process Tap Hack Plus purchases, restoration, refunds, and subscription state. Tap Hack does not receive payment-card details.
- App Tracking Transparency supplies Apple’s system choice when the app is eligible to request tracking permission.
See Apple’s Privacy Policy on Apple’s website for details and controls.
Advertising and Google services
Free versions may use Google Mobile Ads for capped post-run interstitials and Google’s User Messaging Platform for applicable privacy choices. Ads do not appear during active gameplay, onboarding, settings, consent, or purchase flows. Tap Hack Plus suppresses ad requests while the entitlement is active.
Depending on device, region, choices, ad-serving mode, and final SDK configuration, Google states that its services may process IP address and general location, crash and performance information, device identifiers, advertising data, and interactions such as app launches, taps, or ad views. Google may use this information for advertising, analytics and reporting, fraud prevention, security, and service performance.
The final policy will identify the exact production SDK versions, partners, purposes, and App Store disclosures after the production privacy audit.
Your choices
- Where required, Settings → Privacy exposes provider privacy choices.
- Declining App Tracking Transparency permission does not block play.
- Tap Hack uses limited or contextual advertising, or skips ads, when personalized advertising is not permitted or available.
- Tap Hack Plus removes ads while the entitlement is active.
- Settings → Privacy → Delete Local Game Data removes applicable on-device progress and preferences after confirmation.
- Apple subscription settings control monthly cancellation.
Data sharing, sale, and tracking
Tap Hack does not sell a custom account database or guess history. Information may be transmitted to Apple and Google as described above to provide Game Center, purchases, consent, advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and related platform functionality.
App Tracking Transparency “tracking” has a specific Apple definition. Tap Hack will request system permission before accessing data that requires it. Final regional sale, sharing, targeted-advertising, and opt-out language remains subject to legal review.
Retention, security, and children
On-device information is retained as described above. Apple and Google determine retention for information they process under their own policies and service settings. Tap Hack minimizes the information it sends and does not ask players to send passwords or payment details to support. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Tap Hack is intended for a broad general audience and is not planned for Apple’s Kids Category. It does not knowingly operate a custom service that collects a child’s name, email, or account profile. Final children’s privacy language will be published only after owner and legal review.
Policy changes and contact
This policy may be updated when Tap Hack’s features, partners, or legal requirements change. The effective date and any legally required notice will be added to the final policy. Material changes must also be reflected in the app, consent flow, and App Store privacy disclosures.
Tap Hack is provided by Gumshark LLC. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@gumshark.com. The effective date and any legally required mailing address will be added before this page is labeled as the final Privacy Policy.
